CERTIFICATION FOR SEAFARERS

- All seafarers working on board of a vessel registered under the Panamanian Flag are required to hold Panamanian Licenses & Endorsements.

- Our Consulate provides services to issue Transitory Certifications (CTs) with a validity of 3 months through the Seafarers’ Automated

Application (SAA) system. Full-term licenses (seaman books) are also issued by our Consulate after the applications are evaluated by the

Regional Office in Seoul, Korea, located in the same building.

- CTs will be issued within one working day when all requirements and fees are in order.

MEDICAL CERTIFICATE FORMS 1. Only the nationalities for the counties which have not ratified the MLC 2006 must use this form
2. Those with nationalities from countries which have ratified the MLC 2006 should submit Medical Certificates issued by qualified and recognized doctors by their respective Administrations according to the MLC 2006
3. Those from the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Myanmar, Vietnam and the Republic of Korea should submit Medical Certificates issued by doctors authorized by PMA via Platform software
